If you order one of our 225 stock pre-printed names, you will receive three (3) BumpyName Orbit Labels of the same color - either Standard Blue or Green and complete instructions. If you order custom labels, you will receive four (4) BumpyName Orbit Labels of the same color - either light blue, pink, pinkly purple, or green and complete instructions.
Q: What are the BumpyName labels made out of?
An elastomeric material that is compliant with Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Regulation 21CFR 177.2600. This material is in the same class of material used in pacifiers and baby bottle nipples. This material was chosen because it is non-toxic and has durable qualities to withstand normal use.
Q: Can I place a gift order with multiple shipping addresses?
Unfortunately our system will only allow for one shipping address per order. If you wish to make multiple gift orders please complete one order then re-enter our web site to complete second order and so on.
Q: I'm considering sending these as a gift, what does the packaging look like?
The BumpyName labels are nicely packaged in a clear plastic box with appealing colorful graphics. Professionally done - great for a gift.
Q: Can I select the color of my BumpyName label?
If you are placing an order for custom labels, you may select one of four colors (light blue, pink, pinkly purple, or green). If you are selecting one of our 225 inventory names, the colors have been predetermined. The color for each pre-printed label is listed adjacent to the name in the drop down list on the Pre-Printed labels order page.
Q: How many BumpyName Orbit Labels do I need?
We suggest one BumpyName label for each item you wish to label. A wonderful feature about BumpyName labels are you can place them on an item that is exposed to repeated dishwashing, boiling or microwaving. They are also easily transferable and reusable on other containers.
Q: Do I need to remove the BumpyName Orbit Labels before placing in the dishwasher, sterilizing or microwaving?
No, one of the fantastic features about the BumpyName is that it can stay on the item you have labeled. You do not need to remove it unless you wish to use it on something else. InchBug, LLC has designed and tested the BumpyName to withstand repeated dishwashing, boiling and microwaving. The BumpyName label will not peel, fade or wash away!
Q: Can I order one of each color in a BumpyName package?
No, each package comes with the same color label.

Q: Do you offer discounts for bulk orders for groups?
Yes, we offer group discounts for schools, day cares, churches, camps, etc. A minimum order of BumpyName packages is required before bulk discounts can be offered. Please contact us to discuss the details.
Q: How durable is a BumpyName label?
BumpyName labels were specifically designed for containers 30 ounces or less and other items such as a standard size flash light. They are manufactured using a high quality material that has been tested to withstand dishwashing, boiling temperatures and microwaving. Due to the placement of the product on various items it is difficult to predict a life expectancy for the product as there are numerous variables - over stretching, excessive exposure to intense sunlight may cause color fading, etc.
Q: When does sales tax apply?
According to Texas statute § 151.330. (Interstate Shipments, Common Carriers, and Services Across State Lines) We are required to collect Texas sales tax on any purchase that is shipped to an address within the state of Texas. If we are shipping outside of the state of Texas, we are not required to collect Texas sales tax.
Q: On custom order labels, does the Braille match the name?
All of our labels feature Braille. On our 225 inventory name labels, the Braille name matches the text name. On our custom labels, the Braille will read, "Inchbug".
Q: What is the difference between "Pre-Printed" names and "Custom" names?
We offer 225 pre-printed, or inventory, names that are sold in two (2) predetermined colors (blue or green). Our pre-printed names contain three (3) labels per package for $8.95. Our custom name labels are available in four colors (light blue, pink, pinkly purple, or green). Our custom name packages contain four (4) labels per package for $12.95 for one line of text. You may add an additional line of text for $1.00 and one caption for $0.75.
Q: Why would I need two lines of text on a custom label?
If you wanted to list a first and last name that exceeded 17 characters including spaces, you could place the last name on second line. You can also utilize the second line to list allergies or a phone number.
Q: I have had my labels on my child's cups for months now and I use the dishwasher to clean them. I noticed a faint white haze is in the letters - how can I get rid of this?
Use a small brush or sponge to scrub letters to remove haze developed from dishwashing detergent.
Q: Will you be coming out with any other products to specifically aid the visually impaired?
Yes, we are currently designing labels that will aid the visually impaired in identifying the contents of canned goods.
Q: Why should I buy BumpyName orbit labels rather than adhesive labels?
Our labels are reusable and do not leave sticky residue when removed. Our personalization does not fade over time like adhesive labels. Our labels are safer for children and adults in that our labels do not display names so prominently that strangers can read from a distance.
